Rutting Season - The Triumph Stag

Triumph Stag Country House
A ( Triumph ) Stag in the countryside

The Triumph Stag was a True British Classic of the 1970s. It was the Sporty Convertible of choice. It was a revelation.

It came equipped with the Triumph 3 ltr engine or the Rover 3.5 ltr that was much more smooth and reliable. It also came with Power steering and brakes, electric windows and air conditioning - all quite rare on other cars - and certainly on similar ones to the Stag. It had the lot.

"To some a classic car is about the mechanics.

To others it is re-living a golden age of style.

To ME it is all about the classic car as a work of art."            ( Peter Leech )
